Psychopath Resistance 
I normally do not comment on posts that I have some issue with or dislike. I make an exception in this case because the fact that the article case examples and polarizes the actions of a youth is quite disturbing. Had the article focused on adults who have the emotional, intellectual and lingustic landscape in awareness and choice… it would have proved a worthy read. The target here is really the youth society can easily polarize.

Interesting perspective on empaths – it reminds me of a book I’m reading about unlocking psychic potential. I suspect the empaths are viewed as the “healers” due to their natural intuition and nature.

What is anyone’s advice on coping with a ‘covert narc father’.. ?I’m living with my elderly parents through force of circumstance – between myself and him there is ‘limited contact.’ to be able to keep my sanity but the relationship is toxic/poisonous I’m struggling with social services (mental health team) to receive help in order to avoid further damaging abuse on my mother who is typically brainwashed and suffering to the extent that she is really a ‘puppet’ manipulated by her ‘puppeteer’.. They cannot see his ’emotional bullying’ – he’s too ‘covert’ and appears to outsiders the kind gentle man….thus my mother has been taking antidepressants and ‘labelled’ mentally instable whilst he appears ‘normal’… I am receiving counselling. .. however it is extremely stressful to see and hear my father’s controlling abusive manner

Hi, Empath here. I have now a count of thirteen psychopaths as friends, and only one, ONE, has hurt me in any way, and that’s because he is also tortured by another person. If anything, psychopaths and empaths are merely codependent. They have nothing to gain from me and are only a fraction of other friends I have. If anything, being around other empaths freaks me out more. Of course, this is just an opinion, and I will respect anyone who disagrees with me.

Psychopaths are not ‘friends.’ Your friends are not psychopaths. Why do you believe they are? In any case, your personal experiences cannot qualify global generalizations.
